About Us:

The corporate Board members of Safe Way Right Way; Africa Global Logistics, Total Energies, CFAO Motors, CNOOC, Tullow Oil, Schlumberger, Reef Industries, Motor Centre East Africa, GP Advocates work together to leverage resources and best practices to implement road safety interventions.

For the corporate members of Safe Way Right Way, promoting road safety is a commitment to sustainable business strategies and very much in line with business objectives.

SWRW has a track record for the development and implementation of effective road safety interventions and has a strong advocacy capacity to improve road safety delivery through a systematic and holistic approach. One of our innovations is a Road Safety Legislative Action Plan which is supported by the World Bank and aims to review current legislation and policy with an aim to advocate for improved policy and legislation as well as improved implementation of existing policies and enforcement of laws and regulations.

SWRWs projects have received national and international commendations, including the prestigious Prince Michael International Road Safety Award.

Projects have been noted for any impressive approach to engaging the private sector working to support and engage public sector, NGOs and enforcement agencies as well as governments to deliver highly effective and targeted interventions.

Scope of Work:

Safe way Right Way has embraced the Safe Systems approach which addresses all aspects of traffic and promotes shared responsibility by all respective parties such as road users, transport planners, infrastructure designers, implementers and road agencies. The Safe System approach has the following elements

    • Safer Speeds
    • Post-crash care

Strategic Objectives:

  • To introduce and implement quick win solutions to traffic related fatality and injury
  • To collaborate in the development and implementation of sustainable interventions for Central and Local Government Authorities, other civil society actors, academia and the donor community.
  • To advocate for the enactment and implementation of improved road safety policies, laws and regulations across relevant Government Ministries Department and Agencies.

Safe Way Right Way ensures that all its interventions fall under the Safe systems approach principles through engaging the respective government agencies private sector companies and other Non-Governmental Organisations in the road safety space.
